4:17 This light, temporary nature of our suffering is producing for us an everlasting
weight of glory, far beyond any
comparison....
LIGHT
It
interesting how the epistle Paul says about our suffering this light ….the suffering your passing through let no one cheat
you it is light not heavy. LET NO ONE OR
ANY MIND DECEIVE YOU the temptation is very
light it can’t kill you. They have been passed through laboratory of test. [1
cor10:13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God
is faithful , who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but
will with temptation also make away of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
]
TEMPORARY
The
temptations you are encountering are not everlasting temptation. They are for a
seasonal [Isaiah 54:8 In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment;
but with everlasting loving kindness will I have mercy on you,” says the lord
your redeemer].
PRODUCING AN EVERLASTING WEIGHT OF GLORY
Something that is
temporal and light is working to produce
everlasting and weighty.
Suffering is equal to unequal glory. Rom 8:28 and we know
that all things works together for good to them that love the lord.
FAR
BEYOND ANY COMPARISON
Far beyond any comparison [John 16:21 when a woman is in labor
she has pain ,because her time have come. yet when she have given birth to her
child ,she does not remember the agony any more ] after your birth of whatever
you are giving birth you’ll never remember that pain again.
Light for weight
Temporary for everlasting
Suffering for glory
all this are far beyond any comparison.
